We all know that American Music Awards is one of the most anticipated and celebrated event of the year, and we believe that this kind of prestigious gathering deserve a perfect persona to host and keep the audience alive. This year we are more than thrilled to watch our Jenny from the Block grace the celebration as she, once again, nailed her hosting stint at the said event.
The 46-year-old entertainer sure knows how to wow the crowd not only with her outstanding performances, but also with her multiple costume changes. Yes! Multiple, cos we are not just talking about three or five costume changes, but ten!
We rank her dresses accordingly from our least favorite up to our most bet. See it below.
RANK 10: NICOLAS JEBRAN
We sure know that Jennifer is a well-figured-lady, but we thought that having this kind of dress is a bit over the top and completely unnecessary. The ala-bondage knot that holds her body make us think of a porn scene where the lead girl is waiting for her pleasurable punishment- too graphic! Also, the color is not too flattering. Good thing it’s J.Lo who’s wearing the dress.
RANK 9: CHARBEL ZOE
Too much skin ain’t cool sometimes! In this case, Charbel Zoe may have had too much and we are not really digging the appliques covering her ti*ts and genitalia. Next!
RANK 8: ZUHAIR MURAD
Murad is on the fave list of Jennifer! Sure! We like the see-through fabric, the vines and stars accent as well as the dark hue. However, the cut is too unflattering for Jen’s figure. So this deserves our 8th spot.
RANK 7: OLIVER ROUSTENING for BALMAIN
Talking about unflattering cuts. This one from Balmain checked the box and Roustening may have had too much knot on this design that made it seem like a thick fishnet that is so unflattering to look at.
However, we do love the muted color of the dress.
RANK 6: ZUHAIR MURAD
There you go! Zuhair made a comeback as J. lo wore his creation twice during the event. This time complimenting our hostess’ curves. This deserve our sixth spot, ‘cus we are digging the jumpsuit take, the color and the fabric.
5. We do not know who the designer of this red dress, but we like It has lips cutouts that matches her red puckers, and we do like the cut of the dress, not too tight, not to showy, just the right mix!
RANK 4: JULIEN MACDONALD
This look is generally captivating. We commend Julien for putting in so much effort in this creation. Truly complimenting, that even Cleopatra would wear this piece!
RANK 3: DSQUARED2
Hell yes! Jennifer Lopez, wore this jumpsuit made by the DSQUARED2 duo during her performance and we love it as much as we dig her number! The colors, patterns, textures were all insanely beautiful!
RANK 2: MICHAEL COSTELLO
Then we have this pop of bright sunlight! The neckline that shows her cleavage made the dress very interesting and the jumpsuit cut matches her elegance, and oh- don’t forget the golden belt accent! We love this look!
Of course, this is our top pick! The pink ombre was amazing! Plus the cut was just perfect that calls for a dainty treat. Mind you, the dress was made up of Swarovski crystals and that truly deserves a winning shot!
While there’s no doubt J. Lo can rock a garbage bag and make it look like elegant, some of the outfits she wore on stage were more successful than others. Right? So, be sure to share your thoughts if you agree/disagree with my picks. okay?
