The spectacular turquoise water is an inviting sight to behold. You must experience its clear water blanket your tired body from trekking. So clear you can even see the river’s rocky floor.

On the other end, there’s a part where visitors can drink directly from it that promises to ease and quench your thirst with its cold water.

THE TRAIL

It was an absolute 3 hours or so to trek going to the cave, you have to prep up your body if you plan to enjoy a walk on the Daraitan trail. If you plan, however, to conquer Mt. Daraitan, that’s a completely different story. For that involve some intense preparation and psyche given that it’ll take you 2-3 long hours of uphill walk on the muddy, rocky trail going up the summit. But we guarantee you that it’s all worth it.

However, you must also consider taking an early road trip if you plan to visit the top spot of the mountain for they limit the number of summit visitors to 300 only. So, as you enjoy the Daraitan trail going to Tinipak river and the cave, one cannot deny the fact of the lush greens that shadow the way and the glistening wall of limestone rock formation that will welcome you to its surrender.

THE CAVE

Since the location is just a few hours away from Manila, you may opt to commute, like riding a shuttle going straight to Tanay Rizal, adventurous enough? you can ride a jitney and just rent a tricycle going to Daraitan point. Yup! That is possible and drivers won’t charge you dearly.

The place also has shanties that offer meals so you may opt to just buy your food there, but you can also bring your packed meal, just keep the place clean after eating.

So just to give you a bulk computation, each must prepare 1000 PHP to 1500 PHP in order for you to enjoy your trip. Not too costly for a once-in-a-lifetime beaut experience.
