Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, is Miss Universe 2017!
November 27, 2017, Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Miss South Africa as the newest Miss Universe 2017. She bested 91 other candidates from different countries.
First runner-up was Miss Colombia, Laura Gonzalez Ospina, and second runner-up was Miss Jamaica, Davina Bennett.
The Philippines bet, Rachel Peters, who was an early crowd favorite made it to the Top 10.
The show was hosted by Steven Harvey and Ashley Graham and was judged by our very own Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 1998 Wendy Fitzwilliam, makeup artist and TV host Jay Manuel, YouTube star Lele Pons, TV personality Ross Mathews, and host Megan Olivi as part of the panel of judges.
