OFFICIAL WINNERS LIST FROM THE 41ST METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL

This just in, view the complete list of winners from the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival, Gabi ng Parangal.
Though, smothered with questions and controversies because of the recent news about the disqualification of Erik Matti’s movie, Honor Thy Father on the Best Picture category, MMFF managed to snatch the spotlight back to their stage as they announced their winners in the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival.
The Entries to MMFF 2015 include Beauty and the Bestie fronted by Vice Ganda and Coco Martin, My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore with Vic Sotto and Aiai Delas Alas, All You Need Is Pag-Ibig with Kris Aquino, Haunted Mansion of Mother Lily Monteverde, Buy Now, Die Later with Vhong Navarro, Honor Thy Father with John Lloyd Cruz as the lead actor, Nilalang with Cesar Montano, and the romantic comedy film, Walang Forever with Jennylyn Mercado and Jericho Rosales.
But, given the controversy, seems like two underdog movies bagged the most number of trophies, respectively, Honor Thy Father and Walang Forever.

- Best Supporting Actor: Tirso Cruz III (Honor Thy Father )
- Best Child Performer: Krystal Brimner (Honor Thy Father )
- Best Screenplay: Walang Forever
- Best Original Story: Walang Forever
- Best Editing: Nilalang
- Best Cinematography: Nilalang
- Best Production Design: Buy Now, Die Later
- Best Visual Effects: Nilalang
- Best Sound Engineer: Ditoy Aguila (Nilalang)
- Best Musical Score: Jessy Lazatin (Nilalang)
- Best Theme Song: Honor Thy Father
- Best Festival Make-up Artist: Ryan and Ericka (Honor Thy Father)
Special Awards
- Gat Puno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award: My Bebe Love
- FPJ Memorial Award for Excellence: Walang Forever (plus P400,000 cash)
- Male Celebrity of the Night: Cesar Montano
- Female Celebrity of the Night: Jennylyn Mercado

The 41st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) organizers announced the complete list of winners and awardees for the 2015 film competition in the awards night held on Sunday, December 27 at the Kia Theatre, Araneta Center in Quezon City.
