Finally, our Asian princess will get her own spotlight! Following up the success of Cinderella and Maleficent. Disney just spilled the news that they are eyeing in making a live action movie for the Asian heroine, MULAN.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 1998 animated film will turn into a live action movie very soon. Just a brief backgrounder, the story follows the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, a female warrior who disguises herself as a man so she can take her father’s place in the army and go to war. With the help of her trusty dragon sidekick Mushu, she becomes a skilled warrior and, eventually, one of the country’s greatest heroines.

What’s in Disney’s pipeline for the coming years? You’ll be thrilled when you read up below:

They will make a live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. In 2016, Disney will release a new version of The Jungle Book and the sequel to Alice in Wonderland. Finally, a live-action version of Dumbo, which will be helmed by Tim Burton.

Anyway, who is your pick to play the lead role in Mulan?
