A NEW LIVE ACTION MOVIE FOR ANOTHER DISNEY PRINCESS, SOON!

Finally, our Asian princess will get her own spotlight! Following up the success of Cinderella and Maleficent. Disney just spilled the news that they are eyeing in making a live action movie for the Asian heroine, MULAN.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 1998 animated film will turn into a live action movie very soon. Just a brief backgrounder, the story follows the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, a female warrior who disguises herself as a man so she can take her father’s place in the army and go to war. With the help of her trusty dragon sidekick Mushu, she becomes a skilled warrior and, eventually, one of the country’s greatest heroines.

They will make a live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. In 2016, Disney will release a new version of The Jungle Book and the sequel to Alice in Wonderland. Finally, a live-action version of Dumbo, which will be helmed by Tim Burton.
