The threads are out and up for taking! Swedish retail giant H&M just announced their latest designer collaboration with the Paris-based master of beauty and sophistication, Giambattista Valli.
H&M revealed the news at the amfAR gala in Cannes where model and TV personality Kendall Jenner, digital entrepreneur and fashion icon Chiara Ferragni, singer and actor Ross Lynch, Grammy- award winning singer and songwriter H.E.R., together with H&M’s creative advisor Ann- Sofie Johansson and designer Giambattista Valli attended the event dressed in glamorous must-have pieces from a unique limited-edition pre-drop collection from the Giambattista Valli x H&M collaboration.
Here’s a piece of good news, fashion savants and fans can enjoy the collaboration immediately, as the pieces worn on the red carpet will be available in selected stores and www.hm.com on May 25.
“I am excited about this collaboration; H&M gives me the opportunity to bring my vision of style and my celebration of beauty to a wider audience. The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be a part of everyone’s “happy moments”, to help create love stories all around the world” says Giambattista Valli.
H&M is no stranger in collaborating with known fashion brands and houses like Kenzo, Erdem, Balmain, Lanvin and Alexander Wang to name a few and just last year, they have successfully teamed up with Jeremy Scott for Moschino.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Giambattista Valli. He is the undisputed master of haute couture with a knack for the memorable silhouette. To be able to bring his signature styles to our customers is a dream come true. We can’t wait to see their reactions to this beautiful collection” says Ann-Sofie Johansson.
The Giambattista Valli X H&M main collection will hit the shops on November 7, 2019. So be sure you’re ready, as early as now!
