After the most sought-after National costume competition and preliminary interviews, Miss Universe Philippines’ Evening Gown Competition wraps up tonight and the candidates left all the spectators all agog to learn more about their beautiful gowns.
One of the crowd’s favorites is Celebrity turned Beauty Queen, Kirsten Danielle Delavin, also known as Kisses Delavin who stuns everyone wearing a gown in a gradient of midnight blue and violet by Louis Pangilinan.
The gown aptly called Tinatangi or Special someone is a piece dedicated to her supporters. The colors of her heavily beaded number took inspiration from the province of Masbate’s Marine Sanctuary. Each sequin and crystal embellishment of the gown that she wore represents the people of her province and her loyal supporters. While the train and its one-shoulder length glove is a representation of her fans as a sturdy wall to lean on.
In an Instagram post by Louis Pangilinan, the designer says that the gown inspirits special people in the candidate’s journey towards the Miss Universe Philippines crown, or what they call “Tinatangi.”
Louis Pangilinan is a Fashion Couturier and is no stranger in dressing beauty queens. From the past, the proudly Pinoy fashion designer dressed the likes of Miss International Philippines Hannah Arnold, Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2019 Emma Mary Tiglao, and Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up, Samantha Bernardo.
The delegates are a step closer to the coronation night that’s scheduled to take place in the province of Bohol on September 30.
