The popular Thai Boy’s Love (BL) show 2gether: The Series has taken the Philippines by storm with its heart-fluttering, queer love story. The show has dominated worldwide trends, news feeds and has garnered millions of views for each episode as soon as it aired on YouTube — proving to be the
quarantine show for most Filipinos. That is why a lot of fans were saddened when the season ended last May 15.
GMMTV didn’t disappoint the fans when they announced that they will be releasing a five-episode sequel to the show entitled Still 2gether: The series. And just last August 14, exclusively on iWant TV, Sarawat and Tine are back in the game. This time, not just gracing the screens with their ogle-worthy faces but all dubbed in Tagalog. Yes, you read that right.
ABS-CBN successfully acquired the licensing for 2gether a while back but failed to anticipate the influx of fans who will stream the show in the platform. Much to their dismay, the series wasn’t subbed in English so a lot have aired out their concerns on Twitter, and it seems like it worked, and iWant team heard the public’s request for the option for subtitles as they gave fans an option to watch its dubbed version available on iWant at 10:30 p.m. and its original Thai version with English subtitles at 11:30 p.m.
Now there’s more reason to enjoy your Friday night with the second season of 2gether: The Series.
