Alibijaban Island is one of the few places that are still off the radar for those adventure seekers. But where on earth is Alibijaban?
Weird name? Pronounced as A-LI-BI-HA-BAN, you wouldn’t believe that the island can be found in The Philippines, though it sounded more like it be in the Middle Eastern part of the Asian Continent.
The island is situated in San Andres, Quezon, approximately 388 km from Metro Manila. Distance almost similar to Naga and Ilocos Sur.
From San Andres port, there are boats for hire going to the island which will only take 20 minutes, but probably the best 20 minutes of your life cause you wouldn’t help but admire the pristine, calm, blue waters surrounding the island.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the fine white sand and a tranquil environment that is in Alibijaban.
Time to enjoy its raw beauty for its accommodation is on a bring-your-own-tent- basis and there is also a limited electric supply that you can make use of as an opportunity to detach yourself from your virtual world and just live with the present moment.
Don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gears and be astonished by its rich marine life.
The night is amazing especially during the full moon, perfect for lighting up those sky lanterns.
There are a lot of activities you can do on the island but better to discover them personally.
Did you like the photos above? What more in real life? Go, visit Alibijaban, Stat!
