With 33 degrees of heat kissing our cheeks and the humid breeze touching our neck, you cannot deny the fact that no doubt, Summer is officially here. And admit it or not this season makes you wanna lounge around the serene shore stretch of Coron or just listen to the relaxing waves splashing against the sand sheets in Boracay, daydreaming is usual and during these times, doing so is acceptable. so don’t be shy.
For those soul-searchers wanting to quench their summer adventure thirst, we have listed down our Top 10 White Sand Beaches destinations that you can explore during this season. Book mark this page, prepare your luggage and please, don’t say that we didn’t warn you, cos the next thing you know, you’re packing your stuff, making your way to these islands.
10. AGNAIN COVE
Agnain cove is the less crowded Beach in Pundaquit, Zambales. Still raw and unknown to most travelers, unlike Anawangin and Nagsasa. With its fine sand and lush green, one can definitely find serenity even for a short time.
9. DINADIAWAN
Dinadiawan Beach in Dipaculao, Aurora is an escape away from the congested shores of other beaches in Baler. You can catch an ordinary bus from Baler Public Market to get there, don’t worry the road is paved and the air is not polluted, plus you will surely enjoy the scenic view. Please note that there is a limited bus trip going to and fro Dinadiawan so better catch the early morning schedule.
Sidetrip to the nearby Panindingan falls for a cool and refreshing dip.
8. BUROT BEACH
Located in Calatagan, Batangas. Burot is one of the nearest white sand beaches to Metro Manila. The area is secluded but you can bank on Waze for direction.
Due to the feeble waves in Burot Beach, you can actually hire a boat and stay in the middle of the sea to relax and unwind. You can also head to the nearest sandbars to make the most out of it.
7. PUTING BUHANGIN
Puting Buhangin is among the three stops in Padre Burgos’ Island hopping adventure. It’s quite distant from Borawan and Dampalitan, and already a part of Pagbilao. It has the finest sands and clearest waters among the three. So be sure to take time to visit this island.
You can also climb the rocks of Kwebang Lagpas and go for cliff jumping if you feel like being an adrenaline junkie.
6. ANINUAN BEACH
Few meters away from White Beach, Puerto Galera, you’ll find Aninuan. Out from Puerto Galera’s usual image of party, noise, and nightlife happenings. Here in Aninuan you can enjoy the laid-back ambiance of the beach and a blanket of stars in the evening covering the jet black skies.
5. SUBIC BEACH
We all know that Bicol Region is home to some of the famous white sand beaches in the Philippines, like Caramoan and Calaguas, but let’s not forget the hidden paradise in Matnog, Sorsogon waiting to be discovered.
Getting there is a bit challenging due to multiple means of transport – from Legazpi airport take a bus to Matnog, then from Matnog ride a boat to reach Subic Beach. The boat ride can be bumpy at times so be ready to get wet
Off the beaten track and still untouched, this beach offers a wide array of activities from beach bumming, camping, snorkeling, and diving. Remember to bring your own gears, though.
4. Potipot
This hidden gem is located in Uacon, Candelaria, Zambales. Potipot has this creamy fine white sand that is gradually sloping down the sea. The waves are so gentle, perfect if you want to spend time floating while facing the lucid sky.
In the afternoon, you can scroll to the other side of the Island and wait for the beautiful sunset.
Its rising popularity tends to make the island a crowded place every weekend, so better start your trip on a lazy Monday
3. Alibijaban
Alibijaban is one of Quezon’s most-kept treasures, offering no-frills, unspoiled and serene beach experience. Be surprised by the multitudes of activities you can discover during your stay.

2. Sta Ana Beaches – Palui, Anguib, and Nangaramoan
Sta. Ana in Cagayan Valley is blessed with very rich white sand beaches, one of which is Palui. The island is now getting its fair share of fame because of its pristine beach and a fantastic view of the Island from Cape Engaño.
Other must-see beaches here are Anguib and Nangaramoan. They’re 100m away from each other, so it’s kinda easy to traverse from one shore to the other.
