PUT YOUR BEST BOOT FORWARD

A few years ago Nike launched a pair of military-inspired boots that has received minimal attention from the general public. The Nike Special Field Boots feature a Nike Free inspired sole and is equipped with fast-drying technology. 8 inch boots aren’t the most popular type of footwear in the Philippines but if you do intend to rock them, here are some outfits you could wear:
Grime Fashion
Influenced by grime fashion, this first outfit is perfect when you’re running around city streets. A pair of black chino pants (River Island at ZALORA Php 1,916) would go great with a black pullover (Illest at ZALORA Php 1,950). The black field boots would complete the outfit.
Blue Hues
This blue-themed outfit is something you could wear on a rainy day. A pair of light blue jeans (River Island at ZALORA Php 2,799) is partnered with a white tee with blue sleeve details (River Island at ZALORA Php 1,349), topped with a blue linen coat (He by Mango at ZALORA Php 3,250). The khaki field boots would stand out in the outfit because it drifts away from the theme.
Hypebeast
A hypebeast is characterized by having the latest apparels and being dressed with only luxurious garms. This outfit includes a pair of grey skinny fit jeans (Mango at ZALORA Php 2,399), a mandarin-collared button down (ZALORA Php 1,029), and a khaki parka (Mango at ZALORA Php 7,450). The sage field boots would blend in, in the outfit’s dark monotonous theme.
Military Grunge
This last look is influenced by a group of only the bravest men and women, our troops. The green/dessert-themed look includes a pair of blue jeans with a hint of ruggedness (CPS at ZALORA Php 3,749), a plain grey v-neck (ZALORA Php 349), and a green bomber jacket (Mango at ZALORA Php 5,950). The coyote field boots look closely like that of what the troops wear.
