We have finally met all the winners from the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines 2020, and they’re sure didn’t disappoint with fashion moments filled with Filipino pride, beauty, and glamour.
With over 40 women who vied for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 crown. 16 candidates strut the stage wearing only the best of the best fits to be their most phenomenal and beautiful selves. Let us take a closer look at the top 5 of our most favorite winning ensemble.
KIMBERLY “BILLIE” HANKENSSON by LOUIE PANGILINAN
Proud Cavitenya Kimberly “Billie” Hankenson wore a stunning chartreuse side draped column gown by Louie Pangilinan. Her refreshingly bright dress complemented her iconic pixie cut and chandelier earrings that accentuated her astonishing curves.
ALAIZA MALINAO by JO RUBIO
Wearing a crip, pristine white Filipiniana number, Davaoena beauty Alaiza Flor Malinao donned a gorgeous white terno by Jo Rubio. Malinao wears a classy and elegant mermaid cut terno that fits perfectly to her body. Matched with a low bun to complete her truly Filipina look, Malinao is a cut above the rest with the elegantly simple gown that she wore.
Michelle Gumabao by Ezra Santos
True to her preliminary answer, Gumabao wears a piece by Dubai-based designer Ezra Santos. With sheer green and heavily embellished bodice Gumabao sashayed the stage and wowed the audiences with her arresting aura.
Sandra Lemonon by Benjamin Leguiab IV
In what seemed to be an Ocean goddess, Lemonon wears an aqua dress by Benjamin Leguiab IV. The cut was pretty much the same as Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray’s Lava Gown. However, what sets it apart from Gray’s gown was that Leguiab added teardrop crystal embellishments ala Kim Kardashian Mugler MET GALA number.
RABIYA MATEO by Jung Candelario
Last but definitely not the least, Miss Universe Philippines 2020, Rabiya Mateo is also on our radar wearing her deep read gown embellished with floral apliques and a tulle cape. Staying true to her answer, Mateo is a charming yet powerful queen in deep scarlet red.
