With his captivating gaze, enchanting smile, and mysterious appeal, one must’ve mistaken this Belgium- raised model as Robert Pattinson. Dylan Verlooy, is set to take a mark the best way he could in order to leave an arresting presence in face of the industry.
In keeping with our model feature tradition. We linked and catch up with Dylan to know more about his views of the modeling industry, aspirations in life, and guilty pleasures. Read up and be even more surprised.

How were you discovered?
I was scouted while I was walking on the Festival Couleur Cafe in Brussels, Germany
How do you view the modeling industry?
The modeling industry, just like everyone else is ever-changing. Everything’s going social, one thing you’re in, and the next you’re out. More and more models are being discovered, so you really need to step up your game. But, don’t get me wrong here, that is a normal occurrence.
What is the most challenging part of being a model?
In my own opinion, the most challenging part of being a model is to learn how the industry really works. There is more to it than wearing nice clothes and taking good photos. It is more of, how you need to impress the clients or the brand from the first minute you walk in a casting room. The competition is really tough, and you have to be tougher.
What is the most fulfilling part of being a model?
For me, it is seeing the results of your hard work. From the photos, the campaigns, and editorials. It’s always cool to see what magic the Photographer and you did in order to craft a good output. Also, seeing yourself in billboards and magazines is an amazing feeling!
How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Realistically thinking, I hope I made enough money out of this industry to invest in some projects. I look forward to building my own business.
What do you consider is your best physical asset?
I guess, this feature runs in our genes, I have a big chest, and I look at it as an advantage ‘cos it looks better with clothes- I mean the fitting.
What do you consider is your edge over the other models?
I THINK MY EYEBROWS. They are well defined. haha.
What are your top 3 fashion essentials?
Of course, my all time favorite look punctuator, a leather jacket. A long shirt is also becoming one of my favorites- If you’re tall, you can’t go wrong with that. And for castings, to make myself look more presentable, my trusty Navy blue blazer should do the trick.
What is your daily routine look like?
I wake up, eat a hearty breakfast. I always read the newspaper to keep me in-the-know, while sipping my coffee, then I head to the gym after. If I have castings, I go there on time, I usually go early to hang out and talk with some friends. Then when the evening comes, I go for a quick run and watch Netflix!
What’s your fitness regimen?
I try to go to the gym at least five times a week. Monday, I do chest, triceps, and abs. Tuesday, I do shoulders, biceps, and my abdominals. During Wednesdays, I do back and legs, then repeat the sequence every Thursday and Friday.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Yeah, I do! Pancakes! It is so hard for me to stay away from it. Also, please do not put chips in front of me, I can finish them in an instant. But, the worst is PEANUT BUTTER, that is the best in the whole world! haha!
What is your guiding principle in life?
Life is short, so you need to seize every waking moment of it. Opportunities come and go, so take chances, and don’t be afraid. Life will never be the same as you view it when you were 20. The most important thing is that you’re happy.
Speaking of traveling, what is your favorite country that you have visited so far?
South Africa is my favorite for now. I’ve been to Capetown and stayed there for a week and the experience was amazing! The culture and scenery were perfect! People are so friendly and the food is delicious.
What is your dream country to visit?
I have so many on my list! Let’s just say that Jamaica and Cuba are on top of it.
What is your biggest fear?
I don’t like snakes. I don’t know why. I will definitely jump 2 meters high If I get to see one, right now!
If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?
Probably, finishing my degree, and traveling the world.
If you could swap lives with a celebrity who would it be?
LEONARDO DICAPRIO. He’s an inspiration! Just WOW!
How would you describe happiness?
Just live the moment and enjoy every bit of it.
Who has been the most influential person in your modeling career to date?
Maybe, in the modeling industry, Sean O’Pry. The way he carries himself, the way he pose for the camera, he knows his right angle, and it’s crazy! And his career is really big now!
If you could be on the cover of any magazine, What would it be and why?
Vogue for sure! It is the biggest and most famous magazine in the world, and their editorials are always perfectly amazing.
What’s your most memorable modeling moment?
Working for Emporio Armani, it is one of the biggest brands in the world, and it was such a privilege to be part of it.
Taking off your clothes in front of the camera seems pretty hard. How do you prepare for that?
For me, the most important part of it is that you are confident about your body. You also need to trust the group or the person you are working with. In the end, if that is just a job, then that’s just a job. A job should always happen with respect and professionalism.
What’s your favorite fashion city, and why?
Milano is amazing. They have amazing fashion brands, the city is so chill and I love it!
What is your personal fashion style?
Just casual. A nice pair of jeans, again- a long shirt paired with a leather jacket and all-stars. I love brands like GStar Raw, Diesel, and Replay.
Any dream labels to model for and why?
Armani and Ralph Lauren are my favorites. the brand is a combination of Class and elegance!

Favorite position: Hmmm. It depends on the moment and the girl. haha.
What turns you on? : A cute face and a nice body.
