COVER WARS: PREVIEW v METRO v MEGA JULY 2015

Another month has just gone by, and we bid farewell to last season’s fashion trends but here we are again to welcome a new month, July! For us trendsetters, this means getting all giddy as we get our monthly dose of the latest issues of the hottest fashion magazines, and this involves anticipating each magazine’s cover design. And this July, let’s all join forces as we dig deep to each of this month’s hottest magazine covers! We’re glad to bring you, COVER WARS!!

For this month’s issue, Preview went a little playful with their theme “THE DIGITAL AGE” having blogger and fashion influencer, Kim Cam Jones as their cover wearing a bardot dress. Preview got extra creative and played around with this issue’s cover by injecting the coolest emojis and adding pops of primary colors. The cover oozes both a mix of digital and realistic as random digital animations were incorporated while Kim Cam Jones was shot on cam lounging under the sun. We definitely think it’s the cutest and most unique cover that we laid our hands on to! This issue is undeniably eye-candy especially to us who are all a fan of emojis. To project a lively and creative look like Kim Jones on Preview’s July ’15 cover, here are a few of our fun and playful fashion picks.

While Preview was all playful in rainbows and sunshine, Metro on the other hand projected the ultimate cool and chic Pre-Fall theme with KC Concepcion on the cover. KC channeled her inner fall goddess in a maroon jumpsuit ensemble with a bright printed coat. This month’s cover even made her stand out from the country-style fall scenery background as she embodied both printed and bold hues of maroon, navy and hints of bright yellow. Solenn Heussaff seems like a subject muse in a painter’s masterpiece as she sets forth the cover of Mega Magazine’s July ’15 issue. Dressed in a metallic sweetheart gown ensemble and armed with metallic cuffs, Mega’s July cover girl is certainly a woman of the galleries.
