DESIGNER KATE SPADE FOUND DEAD IN HER MANHATTAN APARTMENT

Designer Kate Spade, who created an iconic bag collection, hanged herself to death bridged in her Upper East Side apartment in New York on Tuesday morning.
She was 55. CNN reports that law enforcement officials are investigating her death as an apparent suicide. Kate was found by her housekeeper with a suicide note found at the scene.
A statement from Kate Spade New York reads: “Kate Spade, the visionary founder of our brand, has passed. Our thoughts are with her family at this incredibly heartbreaking time. We honor all the beauty she brought in this world.”
The designer started her career in Nw York 1993 and opened her first shop in the city three years later.
2018 is a big year for kate spade new york as the American brand celebrates its 25th anniversary. It only makes sense, then, that its Summer 2018 campaign is centred on celebrations — specifically, of summer weddings.
