Disney fans worldwide celebrated as our fave former Disney stars and other celebrities came together for a wonderful night of music and singalong!
The Disney Family Singalong on ABC hosted by Ryan Seacrest was shown last Thursday and people can’t get enough of it the whole weekend! So for those of you who missed it, Style Mnl is here to give you a round-up of some of our most-loved performances!
“COLORS OF THE WIND” by TORI KELLY
Who missed our favorite Native American Disney princess Pocahontas? Singer/Songwriter Tori Kelly performs one of the best Disney ballads, “Colors Of the Wind”, and her rendition was a snatch!
“I DON’T WANNA BE LIKE YOU” by DARREN CRISS
Emmy and Golden Globe winner Darren Criss creates his own rendition of The Jungle Book’s “I Don’t Wanna Be Like You”, complete with full instruments!
“YOU’VE GOT A FRIEND IN ME” by JOSH GROBAN
Superstar Balladeer Josh Groban performs “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story”!
HOW FAR I’LL GO by AULI’I CRAVALHO
The sea called our well-loved Princess Moana from Motonui, played by Auli’i Cravalho to sing everyone’s favorite from the movie, “How Far I’ll Go” which for Auli’i really fits what we’re all going through now. For her, the song is really relatable and could inspire everyone in these trying times.
“CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT” by CHRISTINA AGUILERA
Accompanied by her sleeping dog and her wrapped in a Mickey Mouse blanket, Grammy Winner and former Disney channel star Christina Aguilera gives us her emotional version of “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” from the Lion King with her signature vocals 🙂
I WON’T SAY I’M IN LOVE” by ARIANA GRANDE
Pop superstar Ariana Grande channeled Megara with full-on costume and makeup (which makes her more perfect for the role of Megara, if ever there would be a live-action film) as she gave us her rendition of “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” from Hercules.
” A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES” by DEMI LOVATO AND MICHAEL BUBLE
Another former Disney Channel superstar and vocal powerhouse Demi Lovato brought her inner Cinderella vibe as she sang a moving rendition of Cinderella’s “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” with another powerful balladeer Michael Buble! The video also includes people sending their well-wishes to frontliners serving us during this pandemic.
“WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR” by BEYONCE KNOWLES-CARTER
Who could forget our Queen Beyonce as she surprised everyone with her special performance of ” When You Wish Upon A Star” from Pinocchio! She ended her performance by saying “Please hold on to your families tight, be safe, and don’t give up hope. “We’re going to get through this, I promise.”
“BE OUR GUEST” by DEREK HOUGH, HAYLEY ERBERT, and JULIANNE HOUGH
World Of Dance judge Derek Hough together with his girlfriend Hayley Erbert went all out to give everyone a special performance of Beauty And The Beast’s song ” Be Our Guest”, complete with costumes and props! The best part is where Julianne Hough joined through Facetime, dressed as Belle too!
“WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER” by the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL CAST
When the show was coming to a close, Ryan Seacrest teased the fans as he introduced a very special guest who helped introduce the most-awaited performance of the show! Yep ladies and gentlemen, ZAC EFRON was that guest! He started his intro with a message to everyone that “we’re all in this together” in this crisis then passed it on to director Kenny Ortega who introduced THE WHOLE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL CAST! Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, and Monique Coleman joined Kenny for an all-star reunion of “We’re All In This Together.” Including cameos from Raven-Symoné, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and the cast of the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, the throwback, fun-filled performance doubled as a perfect closing sentiment. for the show. So much feels right?
