TREAT YOUR OLFACTORY WITH THESE NEW LOEWE PLANT-BASED HOME SCENTS

Here are some boujee scents from LOEWE’s new range of home scents evoking the essence of the vegetable garden that you need to cop for your homes to treat your olfactory.
“When I joined LOEWE I already had in mind to create candles and add an olfactory dimension. I am happy to introduce this new line of home fragrances and potted candles based on the raw essences of a vegetable garden,” says Jonathan Andersson.
LOEWE worked with its in-house perfumier Nuria Cruelles to interpret eleven plant essences and express them as their own standalone scent within candles, wax candle holders, home fragrances, and rattan diffusers. The smells include honeysuckle, beetroot, juniper berry, tomato leaves, coriander, licorice, the scent of marihuana, luscious pea, oregano, cypress balls, and ivy.
With the brand’s ongoing engagement with the art of ceramics, LOEWE’s ribbed terracotta pot that holds its candles is based on a 5th century BC Greek mug I bought at an auction several years ago. It offered the perfect template as a container for candles, which come in three different sizes. The candles are made with wax derived purely from natural ingredients, and embossed with the LOEWE monogram and the message ‘Made in Spain’.
The LOEWE home scents’ packaging was made in Spain that gives visual depth to the taxonomy record lensed by the Franco-Swiss photographer Erwan Frotin who is known for his detailed photographs celebrating the beauty and diversity of the natural world. Frotin depicted the range’s organic inspirations as a modern interpretation of Kazuma Ogawa’s prints. A photograph of each plant appears on a colored background on the corresponding box, creating a dialogue between scent and ingredient, inspiration and outcome that seamlessly closes the creative circle.
