The concept of “timeless design” is the theme of the new series of media campaigns for Tod’s No_Code, entitled “Masters of Design”: photos and videos relating to the launch of the new No_Code collections are created by combining the new Tod’s No_Code models, with some iconic masterpieces taken from the history of international design. The project will also evolve on No_Code’s social media channels.
The first chapter will be dedicated to the launch of the No_Code X High Top: for this model, the designer Yong Bae Seok was inspired by the work of Mario Bellini. The TOTEM Brionvega was the main source of inspiration, where the search for primary forms, such as the simple volume of a cube, leads to modularity and composability that hides the functions of Hi-Fi. Starting from the cube shape, Mario Bellini brings out a stereo system, speakers included; he calls it Totem RR130 which he launched onto the market in 1970.
In the Campaign, this “masterpiece” taken from the international design history of the 1970s is accompanied by the new No_Code X and No_Code X High-Top (in total black and total white versions), designed by Yong Bae Seok in 2020.

In our ambitions, Tod’s No_Code enters this field, with products that can be used over time and that can remain timeless and recognizable even in the future”.
Following the launch of the first campaign, the second chapter of MASTERS OF DESIGN will be a tribute to another industrial design icon: Dieter Rams and his Braun receiver, “Regie 510”, produced in 1972.
