ABS-CBN Entertainment in partnership with Resorts World Manila and Full House Theater Company is bringing the most sought after Original Filipino musical stage play for only 48 hours starting May 8, 2020.
While staying at home due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Filipinos can savor and enjoy the nostalgia of the ’90s through the music of Eraserheads as “Ang Huling El Bimbo, The Musical” continues to stream for free on ABS-CBN’S Facebook Fan page and Youtube channel until May 9, 2020.
The show first premiered in 2018 and has staged more than 100 successful shows in Resort World Manila. This time to help raise funds for ABS-CBN’s “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig” campaign, which aids Filipinos whose livelihood was greatly affected by the community quarantine.
Ang Huling El Bimbo, The Musical, is a story of friendship and life struggles told through the songs of the most iconic Pinoy rock band Eraserheads. Set in two generations, it follows the story of four friends, Emman, Hector, Anthony, and Joy, as they set foot in a tragic journey of acceptance, responsibilities, and fate that are insightful, and at times provocative.
The show directed by Dexter Santos. stars Jon Santos, Gian Magdangal, OJ Mariano, Boo Gabunada, Bibo Reyes, Phi Palmos, Gab Pangilinan, and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo.
