THE NEW NETFLIX SHOWS TO WATCH THIS MONTH OF MAY

As we usher to a new month, here are the new series to binge-watch to and movies to catch for the month of May on Netflix.

We feel you, you cannot deny the fact that you have finally succumbed to the cabin fever. It’s been five strong weeks, and the Enhanced Community Quarantine hasn’t been lifted. But believe us when we say that this could be for a good cause.

While you’re stuck at home, how about you catch up on some readings, or update yourself and let it sink with these new series and movies from Netflix that’s about to land this coming month of May.

HOLLYWOOD (May 1)

Set in 1940’s, post World War II era, this movie directed by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan follows a story of an ambitious group of aspiring actors and filmmakers who will do almost anything to make their showbiz dreams come true. The movie stars Patti LuPone, David Corenswet and Darren Criss.

THE HALF OF IT (May 1)

The chick flick follows the story of smart but cash-strapped teen Ellie Chu who agrees to write a love letter for a jock and later on become his friend (or more than that) This Romantic and heartfelt movie stars Leah Lewis, Daniel Diemer, and Alexis Lemire, Directed by Alice Wu

ALL DAY AND A NIGHT (May 1)

This social Issue Drama, directed by Joe Robert Cole, follows the story of Jakhor, a young man who looks back at the people, circumstances, and the system that set him on the path toward his crime. The movie stars Jeffrey Wright, Ashton Sanders, and Regina Taylor.

INTO THE NIGHT (May 1)

The season 1 of this interesting Spanish series tells a story of the passengers and crew aboard a hijacked overnight flight, as they scramble to outrace the sun while a mysterious cosmic event wreaks havoc on the world below.

THE WRONG MISSY (May 13)

This Raunch RomCom tells the life of Tim who thinks he’s already invited the woman of his dreams on a work retreat in Hawaii. However, wheels turned a wrong path when he later realized that he mistakenly texted someone from a nightmare blind date he doesn’t want to get back in.

WHITE LINES (May 15)

This Drama and suspense thriller series follows the life of Zoe Walker who leaves her quiet life behind to investigate the disappearance of his brother in Ibiza. Little did she know, she’s up for something horrific, wild and perilous path.

CASTLE ROCK (May 15)

Not too fan of Romantic comedies and sweet tot flicks? Then Castle Rock is for you. The series is based on the works of Stephen King and the story weaves through the chronicles and characters of the series. If you liked The Haunting Of Hill House, then this one is really for you. The series stars Andre Holland, Lizzy Caplan, and Sissy Spacek, Directed by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thompson

SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ (May 15)

Starring Asa Butterfield , Finn Cole, and Hermione Corfield. This teen scream flick is about a middle-class teen who just moved to his new town at a top boarding school and later discovers a sinkhole at a fracking site that unleashes tremors of terror.
