You just have to trust Brian Atwood when it comes to fusing sex and fashion. Indeed, for Atwood, sex sells and he used that to introduce his latest Spring 2015 collection. The brand got a little help from the French-bred model, Aurelien Muller, baring into nakedness to showcase the current pieces from Atwood’s collection.
The designer clearly wanted to capture our attention and he aced that with flying colours. Sky-high heels and platforms fronted his collection throwing in some shades of fuschia, red and a glimpse of floral prints.
Chicago-born Atwood was the first American designer to be hired by Versace back in 1996. In 2001, Atwood launched his eponymous label, while continuing to consult for the brand, which is also known for its provocative campaign imagery.
In 2007, Atwood was named Creative Director of Swiss luxury label, Bally, where he remained until 2010. He is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and has been honored with our Footwear News “Designer of the Year” award in addition to his diffusion line, B Brian Atwood, receiving our “Launch of the Year” in 2011.
