EDDIE REDMAYNE GRACES THE LAST COVER OF DETAILS MAGAZINE

We start this story by shaking the bad news off. So, just a few days ago, Conde Nast announced that they are shutting down Details Magazine and have decided to just finish this year by releasing their December issue. Details was founded in 1982 then acquired by Conde Nast, it boasts a circulation of about 560,000 readers.

This will definitely sadden a lot of readers but, hey! They are giving us a treat with their final cover guy, even for the last time. Eddie Redmayne has the distinction of being the glossy’s last cover guy, just right in time for his upcoming film, The Danish Girl.

On his interview, the promising actor talks about getting naked in front of the camera and doing frontal scene, “Any time you get naked in front of a crew, it’s embarrassing. It’s not as if we as actors have some way of becoming comfortable with it. It would be exactly like you getting naked in front of 30 people.”. He also shares with Details her experience in doing her role as a transformed woman, his acting approach and his means of transporting from one character to the other.
