LISTEN TO SAM SMITH’S WRITINGS ON THE WALL FOR THE NEW JAMES BOND FILM

Seems legitimate! Sam Smith must be next to Adele’s footsteps. After bagging several musical trophies and strumming our hearts out with his emotional songs, Sam Smith is now set to sing Agen OO7’s theme song for Spectre entitled Writings on the Wall. We know that it is really hard to top Adele’s Skyfall ranking amongst the greatest 007 theme songs, but hey! Let us give Smith a chance.
Smith is the very first Brit male solo artist to interpret a song for the motion picture since 1965 and we quote:
“This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I’m so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations.”
Sam collaborated with co-writer Jimmy Napes once again. Disclosure, who Smith’s collaborated with many times, also played a part on the production.
With his signature falsetto and a lush orchestra, we give this soundtrack a four star! Take s listen and tell us what you think.
