Green could be identified as the color of envy and jealousy. Doubled with disgust when Disney-Pixar released their animated film “Inside Out”, but not this 2017.
Pantone released the color of the year 2017, and it seems like the future looks lush as the company’s colour experts have officially announces “Greenery” as the color for the coming year.
Fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first day of spring when nature’s green revive, restore and renew, that’s how Pantone describes the lush foliage. The color was chosen to be a symbol of new beginnings and optimism at the end of what many felt was a particularly heavy, devastating and tragic year.
Explained Pantone, ““The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world,”
“We are so submerged in our routines and tethered to devices, but we have a great desire to disconnect and replenish,” Pantone vice president Laurie Pressman told CNN in an interview.
