Just today, Dyson revealed its latest offering from its growing roster of products, and it’s the one that you’ve always been waiting for. Introducing the new Dyson Digital Slim vacuum, a compact piece of technology with top-of-the-line quality that has a lot more to offer aside from its obvious difference in weight and size.
“In our latest machine, we set about going even further, seeking to condense our proprietary cleaning technologies, making our lightest machine to date while refusing to sacrifice cleaning performance,” said Founder and Chief Engineer, Mr. James Dyson.

This vacuum uses the same technology as Dyson V11
The Dyson Digital Slim vacuum has the high performing technology features of its predecessor Dyson V11 cord-free vacuum, but it’s 20% smaller and 30% lighter.
In an official product statement, Mr. James Dyson shared that the machine is powered by their lightweight Dyson Hyperdymium motor and 11 precisely engineered cyclones which ensure no loss of suction.
It features a 40% lighter soft roller cleaner head, a specifically designed motor that produces the powerful airflow found in all the Dyson machines.
Its more ergonomic, and features a lighter body and smaller wand
The Dyson Digital Slim wand is 15% shorter and thinner than the Dyson V11 series. Compared to V11’s built the Dyson Digital Slim cord-free vacuum cleaner is one piece, with seals, rivets and the thickness of walls all paired down, to achieve weight reduction.
It also features a better grip with its smaller handle to provide more ease and comfort while using the product. Kid, you not, even its littlest feature, like the red trigger to activate the machine has got new contours which follow and suit your finger just perfectly.
It has a powerful suction ability
The motor spins up to 120,000rpm, creating powerful suction. Its ceramic shaft is cured perfectly to make it three times harder than steel, yet with half the density.
It features a more direct airflow
Through the cleaner head, this new product’s airflow path was also re-engineered to create a more direct path for it. Smoothing out sharp corners and creating a more direct and even route for the airflow from the floor into the neck of the cleaner head, which means better edge cleaning performance.
It features 11 scrolled cyclones
The 11 scrolled cyclones have been redesigned to fit the machine and ensure they remove more dust and dirt from the airflow.
Properly functioning cyclones are key to no loss of suction as it means less fine dust is pushed to the pre/post-motor filters. Efficient cyclones topped with a powerful Dyson Hyperdymium motor generate one continuous airflow from the cleaner head pick up through the cyclones and filter out to the exhaust.

Say goodbye to crouching! Because for the very first time, this unit features a curved attachment called the “Reach Under Tool” that arches easily whenever you need to clean lower areas like under the bed or tables. On top of that, the package also has the Combination Tool, Light Pipe Crevice Tool, Mini Motorhead, Up Top Adaptor, Extension Hose, Wand Clip, and Mattress Tool.
It has an LCD screen to monitor ITS airflow prowess
It’s intelligent, with an LCD screen that shows the cleaning mode, and remaining run time, as well as offering filter maintenance reminders and blockage reports. It has a better grip. The circumference of the handle has been made smaller allowing for an easier and more comfortable grip for people with smaller hands. The shape of the trigger has also been contoured for greater comfort for a finger.
Maintenance is as easy as 1,2,3
Maintenance is easier as the machine has been engineered for smoother, easier dirt ejection. The brush bar, clear bin, motor filter, and light-up crevice tool are all washable. Apart from that, the new product also enhances its dirt ejection process by applying the “Point and Shoot” mechanism. Just slightly pull the lever up and the lid will open to eject the gathered specks of dirt and dust.
It has a rechargeable and removable battery
The removable, fade-free, energy-dense battery is made up of five nickel-cobalt-aluminum battery cells that run for up to 40 minutes in eco mode on hard floors, and up to 5 minutes in boost mode. The battery is also swappable, providing up to 80 minutes of run time in eco mode.
It is user-friendly
Just like any other Dyson products and staying true to its vision, the Dyson Digital Slim is easy to use, that even your kids (of course, with your supervision) can enjoy cleaning your home with it.
