SON YE JIN MIGHT STAR IN HER FIRST HOLLYWOOD MOVIE THIS 2021

 

A Hollywood movie starring Crash Landing On You’s Son Ye Jin is in the works and we’re excited about it.

According to Soompi, Son Ye Jin will be playing the role of Vera, a single mom who lives near the border of the country. Vera’s husband died while trying to cross the border, while on the other hand, Lee Sun-gyun has his eyes on Gideon, a tough but charismatic leader responsible for the protection of the border. Australian actor Sam Worthington of Avatar, who will reportedly be playing a man who lives in the wealthy part of the nation.

The project, titled Cross, will reportedly tell the story of a new world where multi-culture countries exist and will focus on a similarly divided two worlds, with one half being modern, powerful, and wealthy, while the other is far less influential and developed.

As of this writing, a release date for Cross hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s rumored to begin filming in Korea in March 2021. Stay tuned for updates!

If the rumors are true this will be Son Ye-jin’s first Hollywood project.
