3 FACTS WHY WE LOVE RIHANNA’S COLLABORATION WITH PUMA

We have got three reasons why we’re digging this latest collaboration of Puma with the Barbadian songstress, Rihanna. Need not to lengthen the list but we got you covered when we say that these collaboration is an outlast team up from Puma and the Bad Gal.
#1 After much collaborations with several athletes, Puma has decided to take the route of teaming up with a Hotshot! Following up her first commercial for the activewear, the brand has unveiled the first design of the collab with a creeper style sneaker. Bringing back the 90’s vibe at play, the remixed platform of the collaboration was inspired by the iconic PUMA suede sneakers. Dig them not, Riri killed it.361005_01_01_PNA
#2 This collaboration is not just a simple “connect-me-to-who’s-who” kind of partnership but rather, the brand got a li’l hand from the singer as their newest Creative Director. Expect more revamps and upgrades with the brand now that they have Riri. Proving to be the best choice to front Puma’s newest trainer, The Creeper, fashion fans were quick to snap up a pair and pre-orders were sold out within three hours after hitting the internet. Proud of her latest achievement, Rihanna tweeted: ‘#THECREEPER SOLD OUT in 3 Hours!!! Thank you guys! And if you missed it, #THECREEPER launches Globally on the 25th!!! @PUMA’

#3 Prior to the release of the very first collaboration visual, Puma also launched and backed up the campaign with a commercial spot for the activewear brand. With a slogan using the hashtag @NoMatterWhat, the 30 second clip shows close up shots of Rihanna with overlays of imagery and the tune of her not so latest single Bitch Better Have My Money. See it after the jump.

Now if you are not yet thrilled enough with these new ups from the brand, we are legitimately disappointed with your fashion hormones. However, never too late to be psyched that our Barbadian singer is not just a tune-maker but also a fashion icon who will take the brand a notch higher.
