RIHANNA FOR DIOR’S SECRET GARDEN CAMPAIGN

You prolly have seen her latest campaign as she floods our Instagram feed with photos of her latest campaign. Rihanna has been named as the latest face of Dior joining the glamorous roster of Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence. This is the fourth installment of the brand’s Secret Garden series.
The lady knows how to slay as the Barbadian songstress is the very first black woman to front the house in its 69-year history. Steven Klein photographed the American Oxygen singer in a photo and short film campaign inside the Palace Versailles in France.
Asked what drew Dior to Rihanna and how the edgy pop star fits in with its current roster of faces, Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano said, “Jennifer is also edgy, I think. They understand. They’re smart. In this short movie, [Rihanna] knew how to work with Versailles. She has this kind of elegance — we saw it from the very first moment — and then she can surprise. She can be unexpected and we like it. It’s part of this personality.” (source: wwd)
