WATCH THE TRAILER OF ‘#ALIVE’ A NEW KOREAN ZOMBIE FILM

With the success of Train to Busan released in 2016, and heighten anticipation for its sequel Peninsula comes yet another Korean zombie film that you should watch out for this coming June.

Starring Yoo Ah In and Park Shin Hye the film entitled  #ALIVE was Directed by Cho Il-Hyung. The zombie film is based on the original script #Alone of Hollywood screenwriter Matt Nayler and the screenplay has been adapted by Cho Il-Hyung and Matt Nayler for the Korean market.

The film follows the survival of two lone characters Joon Woo (Yoo Ah In) and Yoo Bin (Park Shin Hye) who found themselves in the middle of a mysterious outbreak that plagues the city of Seoul. People who are infected by an unknown virus make them uncontrollable and rabid while those without symptoms are trapped in their houses without any cellular data, Wi-Fi connection, and network receptions. The two will fight for their survival to get pass through the swarm of infected humans and leave their respective areas.

#ALIVE is scheduled to hit theaters in Korea in late June. To date, no further updates were given whether the release will be postponed or delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
